The world just lost Clarence, but the music goes on. Music still wraps Asbury like a coastal fog. : At the Jersey Shore, Summer moves into its iconic phase today, the Summer Solstice. Hippies and Druids will celebrate tonight with rhythmic drum circles on the boardwalk and sacred bonfires on the beach, continuing ancient rites of Celts and Slavs. The ancient Egyptians set the Sphinx precisely between two Pyramids to be lit on the Solstice. For the Druids, the sun will rise at dawn over the Heel Rock at Stonehenge. In Asbury, we wrap the day with a spotlight on Tilly at the Wonder Bar.
