Here's some tips on how to get more modeling work from the internet:
Before posting a message looking for modeling work, be sure to understand how to include your photo and
website link with the message. See below for information on how to add a photo to a post.
If you post looking for modeling work, be sure to include some info about yourself, stats, location, and include
a photo with your post.
Don't post the same message to a lot of different message boards on the same day. Spread them out for maximum exposure.
If a photographer has a web site, go there before asking them for information.
Try to respond quickly to requests from photographers and others, so they remember who you are and what
you look like, and be enthusiastic!
When responding to e-mail, make sure you try to respond to ALL the questions asked.
Always put your website address under your name in your e-mail. So they don't have to go looking through their bookmarks
to figure out who they're talking to.
Try to be clear from the start as to what kind of work you're looking for and what kinds of work you will and won't accept.
How to add an image to a post on a modeling message board or forum.
To add an image to your post: You must first have your image on a server (or web space) somewhere where it
can be accessed from the internet. You are simply linking to an image by entering the URL (or path) to the image location
in the space provided when you post a message.
Like this:
Remember that the path and image name are case senstive, so capitalization, or lack of it, counts. On some forums, when you
post a message you will first be able to preview your message before you actually post it. If that is the case the image will show
up on the preview page if you have entered the path to the image properly, so you can make sure the image will be viewable
before you actually post your message. If you don't see it, then you made a mistake. Use your browser's go back button
to make corrections and try again.
